    went to see a car. Chassis number on dash was different to that stamped in the floor and on the chassis plate and on the logbook. Logbook tell-tale spot didnt change colour when rubbed....

    I did a passible impression of Usain Bolt...what would you do?

    Only one thing to do.report to Garda Station. if you seen someone stealing a car, I hope you would report it, this is no different

    i dont think the seller knew....he does now, up to him to report it I think.
