The Lunchtime Show on Newstalk (12.00-13.30) is an angry little radio show.

With an overly fast pace, it jumps too often from item to item.

Today they had a former presenter, Damien Kiberd, on as a guest.

Calling the host Jonathan Healy, 'Johnno', they sounded like a couple of auldwans having a chat rather than a news program.

Another regular guest is failed politician Jim Glennon, who is described as a lobbyist.

    Opinions on Newstalk Lunchtime.

    Vastly improved since Keano left.

But I still switch over to the News at One at eh, one o clock.

Its a poor mans Livelive or an up market David Harvey show. It seems to focus on righteous indignation, populism and easy answers.
