The Canyon is by far the best. Fantasic value for money.

The canyon is about 1kg lighter as well, no contest really.

which bike would be the best bike to get as an entry level road racer?
    they all use shimano 105

    Canyon Roadlite 6.0

    Felt F85

    Corratec Dolomiti 105

I was asking similar earlier this year and ended up going Canyon (plus love it so far) - you're welcome to try if you're Dublin-based. I liked the colour of the Corratec and it seemed like something a bit different, but no one seemed to have any opinion on it and if I'm not mistaken it might have been quite a bit heavier or something but I'm not sure. If you look at the € 1,000 bike thread I started a while back it compared all the specs in as much detail as I could find.

Yep (you can only buy them online) and I was exact same situation. Had a Boardman Hybrid for a couple of years and this was my first road bike. I'm 185cm and went with 58cm frame and it's fine for me. If that's about the size you'd be looking at PM me if you want more info.

OP, I find this bike fit calculator useful for sizing, although you may need to get someone to give you a hand with some of the measurements...

You'll be hard pushed finding a bike with this spec for less. Excellent bike.

This was pretty easy to find! Not less (€50 more), but arguably better spec and value.

Then you lose! It is a nice bike though, but I prefer the fact the Radon is a rare bike on the road here.

I used the Canyon calculator for my Roadlite 6.0 and at 188cm it recommended an XL frame which I think is 60cm. Great bike, can't recommended it enought, such value for money.

Have a look at Rose bikes too online as they offer similar setup/price to Canyon.

I did initially and I think it said M but I wasn't sure if I got all the measurements right as you have to put in quite a few details. I then had to contact Canyon UK with another question and asked them about sizing and they said L sounded right for me. Again if you want to see an L you're welcome to look at mine. (edit: my bike, that is!)

i e-mailed the uk e-mail address on the canyon website and they said all bikes were sold out...
    "
    Many thanks for your e-mail.

From the information you provided we recommend a Medium frame size.

Unfortunately this bike is sold out and we will have no more of them this season. All the information about the 2013 bikes, including the specification and availability, will be announced at the Eurobike show in September this year and shown on the Canyon.com website later that month.

If you're looking for a bike quickly then we recommend you check the Express bikes section of the website which shows bikes that are available for delivery in around ten days.

    Sincerely,

    Canyon UK"
