    Hi Folks,

I have just received planning permission and now I have to pay for the site within 6 weeks. The site cost 150k and I am not related to the person from whom I am purchasing the site.

What rate of stamp duty have I to pay?

    Regards,

    k_p_b

As its a site, as opposed to a residence- the flatrate 2% would apply. It would fall under the change announced on the 7th Dec 2011.
