Can a Mac user review my homepage?

For whatever reason, the menu on this site is perfectly visible except for on a MacBook Pro 13" (late 2011).

The menu drops down behind the jQuery slider. Funny thing is, this is an issue on *all* browsers on my Mac (Firefox 14, Safari 6 and Chrome). Yet on Windows and Ubuntu, the site displays fine, but those machines are 15" and 19" screens. iPhone and Samsung SII also display fine.

I don't know if it's Mac specific, 13" screen specific or something else, but feedback from other Mac users would be incredibly helpful.

The full details are here (although you don't need them to give feedback): http://wpquestions.com/question/showLoggedIn/id/7158
but the bottom line is that nobody can figure it out yet :)

I'm on a Macbook pro 13", not sure what year but I think around 2009.

The menu drop downs look fine in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

I've got the font set to a mid-value where it's not to big on the Mac and not to small on the other machines now.

It'll have to do I guess, but I'd love to know what the problem is.

Might be a z-index issue. Your slider frames have z-indexes of 3 and 4. Try putting a z-index of more than 5 on your drop down.

However I wouldn't have thought this would cause issues for just certain Macs. Could be worth a go nevertheless.

I've experimented with z-index, but that just overlays the menubar on top of things then. The issue *seems* to be that the font is out of proportion on my machine.

The above linked image shows two screenshots. The top image represents what I see on almost every display including smartphones. The bottom one, with the larger font is what appears on my 13" Mac. Now that I have it displaying legibly across all displays it seems fine, but the problem still exists. The theme developers have said it is not a theming issue, naturally enough!

Cianos, could you attach a screenshot of my homepage as your 13" Mac sees it?
