Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good garage to get a standard service done? Preferably one that won't rip me off because I'm a girl and because I don't know too much about cars in general.

Is €150 -€200 about average price for a service these days? I have a Fiat Punto. Any thoughts welcome, thanks.

It depends on the service required.

What engine have you got and what's the mileage on the car?

We use them a lot from work. Honest, reliable and reasonable.

We'll just guess the year..since its in KMS I presume its a newer model grand punto?

If so the timing belt is due every 5 years, so due if the car is 07 or older, Costing around €250 to change.

Brake fluid is due every 2 years at a cost of €45,

Other then that, depending on its service history, a full engine service and vehicle inspection etc should be around the €120 mark.

Those are the sort of prices that we charge in my place so I'd imagine would be similar in most independent garages.
