Motorcheck & Cartell wrong spec

    Hi,

    I am looking to buy a 2nd hand car - I looked up the car reg on Motorcheck & Cartell and they are calling it out as a 3 Door hatchback where it is actually a 5 door hatchback. The rest of the details are correct and it is a UK import.

    Should I be afraid?

    Ring them up and ask them to delve a bit further into the matter, it could be a genuine mistake on the car's registration documents or the car is a ringer, ie fake reg from an almost similar car. Motorcheck is a regular user on here and very obliging so it might be worth dropping him a PM with the car's details.

    Could be a mistake when importing it.

    Wouldn't worry too much.
