    DOB is now in charge through his puppet proxy directors. Looks like certain people (AH for one) can starting packing their bags....

    Leslie Buckley elected Independent News and Media chairman

    This morning Mr Buckley, a close business associate of INM's largest shareholder Denis O'Brien, was voted back onto the board at an EGM of shareholders.

    If I remember correctly didn't BO'B ask (and I paraphrase) for the removal of the one time chairman, Brian Hillary, because he (DOB) thought he was too close to the largest shareholder (then TO'R) and couldn't be relied to act independently!

    ummmm - but its ok now to stick your bezzie into that position!

    Clearly 'independent' is a relative term and not just in the title of the newspapers!
