Just wondering has anybody gone to many and what would be your recommendations?

And which would be the better food markets?

There is also El Corte Ingles in Plaza Catalunya at the top of La Rambla. It is a department store, sort of the equivalent of Brown Thomas and has a great supermarket too.

On La Ramla, you also have the food market La Boqueria.
