Mixed-CD for newcomer to Ireland?

Homework assignment. Say you had to make a compilation CD for someone new to Ireland, who wanted to get an overview of the best contemporary Irish music. It has to be 10 tracks long, each song has to have been released in the last 10 years, and you can't use the same artist twice.

Admittedly, I'm not as familiar with contemporary Irish music and I should be, but here's what I'd throw together

    1. Bell X1 - Pinball Machine
    2. Declan O'Rourke - No Place To Hide
    3. Cathy Davey - Clean and Neat
    4. Villagers - Home
    5. Heathers - Remember When
    6. Damien Dempsey - Sing All Our Cares Away
    7. Snow Patrol - Set The Fire To The Third Bar
    8. Lisa Hannigan (as The Cake Sale) - Last Leaf
    9. The Frames - Happy
    10. Damien Rice - The Professor et La Fille Danse

    Challenge accepted?

Not sure exactly what contemporary is meant to be but if I was doing a mixture of different genres :
    The script - breakeven
Aslan - too late for hallelujah
Damien Dempsey - sing all our cares away
Royseven - we should be lovers
    Imelda may - inside out
    The minutes - black keys
    Damien rice - cannonball
The original rudeboys - written songs
U2 - sometimes you can't make it on your own
The coronas - someone else's hands

Not a lot to chose from in the last 10 years is there?
