What to wear to my dads wedding?

    Hi Guysss,
    Sorry for the another 'wedding wear' thread but Im really at a loss here.

    I have NO idea what to wear to my dads wedding, its in September.
    My soon to be stepmum hasnt told the colour scheme so Im pretty free reign with colour but my hair is bleached blonde and red so I generally rule out red as a clashing colour.

    My usual style is pretty punky, studs and alot of black, I play around with trends and trying different things so I dont really do traditional. For example I wore a electric blue lepoard print dress with black spiked heels to my dads graduation in June there.

    Thing is that its a wedding, I havnt attended a wedding since I was about 8 - AND its my dads so theres a certain amout of pressure ( in my head anyway) as to my stepmums extended family meeting me for the first time - not to mention that a few of my girl cousins are models and super chic will be there - I always feel really intimidated around them.

    I was toying with this style ;

    Peplum Dress.

    Or a long sleeved, knee length type one;

    Are either of these even appropriate?
    I really have no idea and its stressing me out alot. I know weddings are formal and I just want to look the part but feel comfortable too.

    The peplum dress is appropriate, as long as it isn't too short.

    The second dress is very casual and unsuitable for a wedding, in my opinion.

    The peplum dress is definitely appropriate for a wedding and if it's too short maybe you could wear black tights with it. I agree with Toast4532 that the second one is too casual for a wedding.

    I like the peplum one.

    Peplum is good... but you don't have to change your style.. get a simple black one and add one of those peter pan collars... or get spikey shoes...

    First dress is lovely and very wedding appropriate peplum style is very in at the moment too, as another poster said if it's a bit short on you, you could wear black tights with it.

    I wouldn't wear spikey shoes with it as it's quite as elegant dress. Black peep toe heels would be lovely with it. Dress speaks for itself you wont need to accessorize much.

    The first one is lovely, you could get a bright bag to show a bit of colour against the black & white
