Struggling to find part time work

Just a 'rant' really, I'm looking for part time work but all of the part time jobs being advertised (Limerick) are for people who can be fully flexible - for example Tesco looking for staff to cover shifts Sun to Sat 6am to 12 midnight etc...

Now the thing is I can be flexible during the day - I'm only doing 8 hours at college and my little boy is at school until 3pm, I'm not eligible for any benefit so would be happy enough to work for minimum wage within reason.
I've office and retail experience along with call centre customer service exp.

So I'm experienced, willing to work an hour here or an hour there as and where needed, or even be on call in case of staff being sick basically anything to earn a few pounds.

I have to be realistic and accept the fact that its just not worth my while to work evenings and weekends - the cost of childcare would cancel out any earnings:)

    Does anything like this exist???

You could try talking to a temping agency to see if they ever need people to cover mornings or an hour or two here and there when the receptionist or whatever has to go to the dentist or something like that.

That's a good idea, I think I'll call in to them next week when I have my definite hours for college. Thanks
