Giving LC English Grinds

    Hi all,

I'm an NQT and unemployed at the moment.:( I've been asked to give higher level English grinds to a friend's brother. (I'm qualified to teach English to LC)

I've never had grinds or given them before, so just wondering how it works. Do I work in tandem with what the teacher is doing with him or do my own work with him?

I won't start with him for a little while yet and just want to be well prepared.

How do others structure the hour? what exercises are good to do etc? I know I have a lot to learn about teaching LC so I hope this will give me some direction.

    Cheers! :)
