With this weather I have hit some poor shots, I believe playing from a Wet bunker, this is a different shot, i hear different tips, what club do you use and what advice would you give a beginner ?

Stay out of them at all costs maybe hitting to the back of greens even more than normal , more suck back on wet greens too

If you do find a wet bunker it depends is it mushy or rock hard from being washed away
Sometimes it's possible to putt out

If not mushy sand is a bit hit and hope maybe taking very little sand before the ball and playing a chunk and run with a gw or pw if you've room

If its rock hard you need to pick the ball with a more lofted club than usual maybe your 60deg

But all bunker shots are different and some players play them differently its a feel thing but in wet sand I tend to try to play the 1st type of shot that pitches and runs rather than trying to throw it all the way to the hole as I find it reduces the margin of error when the shot doesn't quiet come off

Normally I usually use my 60 with 12' of bounce on all bunker shots but when the bunker is wet I use my 52 with 8' of bounce. It cuts through the wet sand better and does not skid into the ball as much as high bounce sand and lob wedges. The big downside is the ball will not check up as it does in dry sand and will run out compounding your missed green.

when the bunkers are rock hard due to rain use a regular wedge, you dont want bounce in this scenario.
If all else fails just chip it out like you would on the fairway, forget about trying to play an explosion type shot
