    Its hypothetical of course, since I'm not overly convinced Scotland will vote for independence anyway. But that debate's for Politics.

    Meanwhile there would be issues as to whether the BBC's assets in Scotland would be sold to the new Scottish Broadcasting Corporation (or whatever it was called) for a far price. If there was any concern about that you could see the BBC asset stripping BBC Scotland prior to independence.

    On Radio Scotland they sounded a little amused.

    The Beeb is quite into selling off stuff. I think they'd be quite happy to flog it lock stock a and barrel

    I wonder will the Lads in Stormont want R. Ulster? :)

    If this happens I see a lot more satellite dishes going up across Scotland.

    I foresee a lot more of this sort of thing on Caledonian telly.
