Anyone know of any around the city or suburbs? I know of Creedons but theirs are very expensive. Any other options out there?

    thanks

Creedons are a bit pricey, but they're absolutely worth it. I did a 1 day workshop a week ago and I'm starting a 4 week course tonight. Their trainer, Liz, is fantastic. She has some great techniques to get dog's to stop whatever they're doing and pay attention. This is her own site:

Another option is Tuesday evenings down at Hop Island Equestrian Centre. The Irish Search Dogs do an hour of training for €10. You don't need to book, you just show up. It's less structured than Creedons classes and some of their methods might be a bit questionable, but it's fun and a good way to socialise your pup.

Thanks a mill. He is good, but in dire need of some proper training as I am getting nowhere myself. He is getting his final shots tmr I think, so hopefully he will be a polite, mannerly young lad very soon.

Brought him to the Hop Island equestrian centre last night. Thought it was quite good, certainly from a socialisation point of view. Would recommend it for that if nothing else.

Glad you enjoyed it, it's definitely great for socialization and has the added advantage of wearing them out :) I must start taking my 2 down there again.
