    Hay all, I am useing a canon 50D and a sigma 17-70 lens for my landscape work but looking to change my lens any idea's for getting that sharp lens. I like taking slow shutter shots. Any idea's........... Budget of about €800:rolleyes:

    Buy a Canon 17-40 f4 L lens. It's all you need for landscapes. You can usually pick them up second hand on Adverts for around €450. Sell the Sigma!

    For landscapes you won't find better - however you won't get the full benefit of the 17mm width on your camera so you should maybe also consider a 10-22mm Canon EFS lens which will be really wide.
    Stick with a Canon lens rather than any third party lenses because they are generally softer.
