Oh yeah, mine was long and skinny though, not as tall as that one. It has twin tape deck for pirating tapes lol.

I the late eighties and early nineties mine was pumping Metallica, megadeath, testament, iron maiden, Anthrax and WASP. Later in the nineties it was still pumping out that stuff but also the prodigy and plenty of hardcore rave.

I'll try and find a picture and upload later.

Loved those 80's gettoblasters, I was always surprised by the number of gettoblasters brought by holidaymakers to Spain ect. and everyone blasting out their own favourite music by the pool. That just got me thinking, some of those gettoblasters would probably exceed the size dimensions to bring on a ryanair flight these days...:)

Had one ages ago, size of a suitcase :D

But it was handy for sitting outside in the garden, listening to the football on a Saturday afternoon :)

golden rule was to carry the getto blaster on your shoulder to look cool and also to damage your eardrum :pac:

I have a Sharp 5P 37G boombox. It looks and sounds awesome and it's most unique feature is it has a built in black&white television.

Quality ain't great but this is it.

would of thought there would be more intrest in this thread, the eighties and nineties where great decades. any estates i walked into in them days someone would have gettoblasters, remember all the break dancers and their pieces of lino bobbing around.

ya would'nt see that kind of thing happening nowadays.

    ah them were the days.:)
