Does anyone know what Dublin off licences stock this beer?

Had a bottle of it last night and it is unreal! Lovely stuff that I must have more of!

    Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure Gibneys in Malahide has it

€3.70 a bottle! Ouch! This will bankrupt me!

    Anywhere on the Southside?!

The usual beer specialists, I'd say: Redmond's, Deveney's etc.

How about the regular Erdinger dunkel for 2.85 (drinkstore) or might be cheaper in obriens.

I'm not a fan of Erdinger normally, I'd pick Paulaner over it any day of the week.

I enjoy the Erdinger Kristal, but the normal and Dunkle one wouldn't be for me.

This Pikantus stuff is something else though, so goood!

At 7.3% the import duty the government slaps on it is enough to frigthen you first of all. Greedy gits. :(

I like it but because of its strength, being a double bock, you can only drink about 2/3rd of what you would normally get through.

If you like it, you could try Schneider Weisse Tap 6 which is usually available in Whelan's offo on Camden St.

Weizenbock are a good bit different to a classic bock/dopple bock
