I have just been told that my back axle on my 2002 Peugeot 206 car needs to be replaced. I know the car is ten year old but should it need replacing in a 2002 car :confused:

In a 206, yes it quite likely as alot seem to need replacement back axles

Its usually the bearings in the axle that fail. They are expencive enough but can be very time consuming to fit. It usually works out cheaper to buy and fit a second hand axle
