... I've been looking on both tinternet and around locally as I was thinking of upgrading ... and losing weight ... and getting out more ...:o

Anyways, I read a lot of the cycling posts here and I'm familiar with a lot of the names that appear ... so if I can just get some opinions on this I'd be very greatful ... I know ... I'm a bit like a kid at Christmas ...

Seen a Felt F6 reduced from €1699 to €1399 in Eurocycles ... same spec as on Felt site ... SRAM gears, Mavic wheels ... nice colour too :o ... little voice tells me :) ... if spending €1400 should I look for something else ? It is confusing because yesterday I was looking at Planet X reduced from €1600 to €1300 ... and before that the Boardman ... don't get me started on Chain Reaction, Cycleworld, Wiggle ... a man who said he'd sell me a Forme 105 for €1200 ...

    Errrrrr ... help, please

I'd expect more than sram apex (the drivetrain on the F6) for €1400. I also had a terrible experience with eurocycles and ended up taking them to the small claims court, for what its worth!

Have a look a ribble as well. I recently got a sportive bianco, and love it. Also try canyon. There carbon fibre bikes start at €1900, but come in 1kg lighter than the felt (if weights are to be believed) and offer fantastiic value for your money (I got my mtb from them), far better than that felt. The frame on the canyons would also be of better quality than the Felt.

The felt bikes are nice, you're just going to get better value for money with planet x/canyon/ribble etc
