    Hi guys you always give great advice on these threads . Long story short my partner of nearly 10 years left me and my young kids , that bit I'm fine with I don't want to go back and I'm looking forward to starting a new life .

    So the thing is I don't really have any friends and am dying to get back out there and have some fun . FUN god it's been so long ! Is it possible to meet new friends at my age , I'm 31 f . I would really like to meet people I can make friends with , have a chat , go out etc. I really need to build a whole new circle of friends. How do I do this ? any advise please ?

    You could start going to college if you haven't already.

    Hobbies are another great way of making friends too.

    Just go out there and look!

    You can make friends at any age :)

    What age are your children? If they're of an age where they're getting involved in sports and hobbies, you've got a great opportunity to get to know the parents of other children.

    It depends on the age of your kids,I find it impossible to go anywhere with out them.
    Some people find mother and toddler groups good,an evening course if you can manage it,local groups on the internet.
