Gearbox for VW Golf

Anyone know where i can get a gearbox for a 2005 Diesel Golf 2L SDI? how much should they cost? Also is this a very common problem with Golf cars? this is my second time in less than 18 months to have to change the gearbox.

Give George Dalton a shout on here. He will be able to help you out I'm sure. He is a trusted VW specialist and I wouldn't give mr car to anyone else!

Twice in 18 months seems a lot for a gearbox, unless there is a known weakness with that particular car...
