CORSA AIRBAG FAULT

Hi, an 2005 corsa that was very lightly damaged on drivers side has airbag fault, code is b0058 and says passenger front pretensioner high resistance, anyway purchased one on Ebay for 15 quid but fitted it and says the same thing on scanner, i believe this may be faulty too, plug seems ok. any advice appreciated
