One module is current assessment, simple assignments in Microsoft- Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Lectures in Sem 1 cover basic make-up of PC's, viruses, networks etc. Plus the info needed for assignments. Second semester there is Java & HTML assignments. No exam at end of year.

The other module is Python programming examined at both xmas & summer. Assignments roughly every week so there will be labs every week. No prior experience in programming is necessary.

Lecturers stress that NO computer experience at all is necessary to do the subject. If i remember correctly , the first lab was "how to zip a file and email it to yourself".

Im in 3rd Arts I.T myself, so PM if you want more info.

No need to go to any lectures unless you're not too good with computers.
