    Hi all, i posted here before about some difficulty that I was experiencing with my knee whilst running and following advice I went to see a doctor. Unfortunately the first doctor told me that there was nothing wrong and if it wasn't sore whilst running it should be fine in a couple of weeks, it had since gotten to the stage that undertaking any strenuous activity the knee would flare up so I made a second trip to a different doctor and he has diagnosed the above which makes much more sense as I do have all the symptoms of that!
    My question and I hope the mods don't see it as a medical question is the doc gave me some basic exercises ti fix it and told me to Google it and get some more advanced ones so has anybody here got any exercises to speed up my recovery ?

    Don't google exercises - go to a physio/physical therapist who can give you the correct exercises and teach you how to do them properly. Very irresponsible of your doc to tell you to google exercises. Do them wrong or do the wrong ones and you could make the problem worse.

    Chondromalacia Patellae is very often asyptomatic and is often mistakenly used as a diagnosis for any kind of kneecap issues. Many kneecap symptoms can result from muscle imbalances, excessive foot pronation and a variety of other factors without true cartilage erosion being present.


    RQ 's advice is the most advisable.:)

    ( Sorry to go on . Did a thesis on this years ago :o)
