I like the overall look of the site, but I have a few issues with the front page.

    1. The "Enter" button on the top right feels out of place. Most sites have a button such as that centred in the middle of the page, and I think it would look better if it was centred somewhere [url=https://us.v-cdn.net/6034073/uploads/attachments/446650/220175.JPG"X"[/url]

    2. The "Click for More Information Button"... I can't see the need for it on the homepage, when it could be built into the "About" section of the website. I also don't like that when you hover over it, it highlights the entire line across.

    3. Might be worth considering increasing the width of the site with a few more photos, it looks really barren when viewed on a high resolution.

Should just make it clear that I know very little about web-design or marketing or what have you, but those are just my thoughts on the site.

    Thanks for that.
I will look at changing the "enter" button and your suggestion would make sense.

The dropdown information was requested or SEO scores based on the info within. Thus why its only an option for the visitor.

All the images are copyrighted by Eric and have been optimised for loading times when being viewed.

    Thanks again for the feedback.

Sorry mate but really dont like it. Everything just doesnt seem to fall together.

    Using this page for example

    http://www.ericronan.ie/wedding.htm

Look how close the text is to the image. Also this blurred effect really hurts my eyes.

Thanks, appreciate the comments and see the point about the text. Will add some padding.

Id say that could be said about a lot of the site. Try use the same padding around most things. i.e back to the same page again http://www.ericronan.ie/wedding.htm try have the same distance between the logo and the about button as you do between the about and whats below it.

Id drop the "Click here to see some videos of Eric at work" and put them in the gallery instead. Is that not what the gallery is for? On the about page maybe just have a hyperlink in the text. Same as the testimonials link really.

Its like your trying to squeeze it all onto the first page just so people will see it. If someone is truly looking for a photographer they will have no problem going through the tabs.

    also

I would try make the images on the left all the same size for consistency.

example - compare these pages http://www.ericronan.ie/about.htm and http://www.ericronan.ie/wedding.htm

If they where the same size with video link taken out it would be a lot smoother flicking through tabs. Thats a lot more professional.

same padding, same size images, one h1 tag title below navbar on each page. Then it will fall together.
