So me and my boyfriend are planning on going for a weeks holiday at Christmas time. Hoping to fly out the 27th/28th December.
We want to go somewhere we can get a bit of sun so probably will have to be the Canaries.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone had any experience of going on holidays this time of year and if it would be possible to get a cheap late deal if we waited till maybe a week beforehand to book.
As it stands now the prices are very expensive for the package deals and Ryanair and Aer Lingus flights are over 500 each. we would be hoping to get both of us booked for less then 800 euro.

If anyone has any experience they would like to share.
