dud bull

    bought a bull at the limousine society sale in roscrea in march and he didnt put the heifers or cows in calf 16 of them in total.has anyone esle had dis problem.tryed to contact the pre owner but they wont return my calls and the society said its between me and the seller.

    Have you still got the catalogue from the sale? Usually there is a page there with terms and conditions and about what happens in a case like this. There is a time limit, it might be 6 months.

    Might be worthwhile sending a solicitor's letter if you don't get talking to him.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    it sounds a bit long since the sale. When did you first contact the vendor.
    Have you had a sample tested to confirm?
    Most pedigree guys will do the right thing but it sounds like you need to build your case as quite a bit of time has passed.

    Had a similar problem with a bull from a Charolais sale, the bull was a dud but in fairness the breeder couldn't do enough for me. He gave me another bull for a couple of months to get my cows in calf, took the dud bull back and gave me a replacement bull this spring.

    yea got him tested.contacted them back in may.have 6 months to sort issues according to the small print.in the solictors hands now.

    yea says to look for vet fees and 10% of purchase price for keep and comp for calving date gone awall and other things

    did solicitor say what their fees are? also just to warn you i am 3 years into a court case,,so it is not the quickest way to solve the problem, but if needs must

    no didnt say.have never had dis problem b4 so it knew to me.prev owners from other end of country so driving to yard would blast resort
