Body Double used in Chinese Murder Trial?

Its been rumoured that a body double was standing in for, Chinese business woman Gu Kailai, who was convicted of murder on August 20th. Gu Kailai was given a suspended death sentence, for the murder of British business man, Neil Heywood. Ms. Kailai lured Heywood to a hotel room, then poisoned him with Cyanide, over a business deal.

I saw clips of the court case on TV, I was struck by the accused calm demeanour, she even appeared to be smiling at times. That would make sense if the woman in the dock was a stand-in, and not Gu Kailai. Below is a picture of the woman who was in court, and Gu Kailai, who is pictured right. These two photos don’t seem to show the same person:

That's what I was thinking. I doubt she'll serve much time, considering her "couldn't care less" attitude on the stand.

Man that is crazy!
Im not suprised, but its mad all the same.
You can see in those two pics her hair line is not in the same place.I mean the parting.
Not to mention general weight difference and facial features dont quite match.
So the courts are bought,no suprises on that one.I wonder why they arent doing this everywhere else?
I mean do chinese people look the same to each other?!?? i dont think so...
