I suggest that you try the Galway City and Kilkenny forums rather than here.

That's exactly where we don't want to go.
Anywhere in Ireland bar Galway and Kilkenny ;)

Apologies, I misread that. In that case I'm going to move this to the Weddings & Marriages forum as this isn't specifically a D15 issue.

Carrick on Shannon is a good spot for Hens/Stags.

Blackwater Open Farm (I do not have any commercial interest), Co.Wexford, has arrangement with Treacy's Hotel, Enniscorthy, (again no commercial interest) for overnight stays in hotel and day out on Open Farm with wellie-throwing, paint something on the wall, design a wedding dress from bin-liners and toilet rolls, plants arrangement and some other similar doings especially designed for Hen Parties. Grub is nice too.

I have heard from a few sources they are great craic. Article in recent Sunday Indo about it I believe.

Cork is good craic. You could charter a boat and driver for a spin around the harbour, and do a bit of dolphin / whale watching, in between being dropped off at pubs on piers. You charter the whole boat, so ye decide where it goes. You could end up either back in Cork city, or down in Kinsale, or Cobh.

Loads of places do it... here's one.

Or stay on dry land, there are loads of good pubs and restaurants around Cork city and Kinsale.

We'd a great weekend in Castlebar despite having heard people saying it can be rough; all from Galway here so know what a good night out is like! Stayed in Lough Lannagh village only a short walk or thre min drive to the town.

I organised my sisters hen party!! I decided to go somewhere different and picked Wexford! we got a great deal with riverbank hotel. The food and service as amazing. The rooms are a little dated but overall we had a ball!! would really recommend! I think we paid 89e for an overnight stay, dinner, breakfast and admission to the nightclub! It was a hoot....we had a late buzzing bar in the hotel with other hens and stags....truely memorable... I couldn't believe my luck at finding this gem.....

The best spa I have been in is the killashee house hotel spa! They have been doing very good deals in recent months! If you know what area you are looking for add all the hotels on FB they do upload deals all the time. Stayed in osprey awhile back on a dinner/overnight stay deal and then drove to killashee the next day for a spa day which was also an online deal. you could save a fortune doing it this way. Also the afternoon tea in killashee is out of this world and cheap! The spa was also running a deal for nov of a full day for 99e! bargain beyond belief. I was in the Osprey spa and it wasnt great, also the Merick in Galway wasnt great either....hope that helps you! :)
