    Hello everyone!

Just wondering if anyone can help me get Channel 5 working again :) It used to work up until a month or so ago and now it just shows a black screen. I'm based in Glanmire and have Saorview and also a dish. Is Channel 5 still available here and, if so, is there a way to get it back without messing up the tuning of the whole thing?

    Thank you!

What make of Satellite box do you have? Are you paying a subscription to Sky? Did you get channel 5 via the dish or an aerial?

Channel 5 has changed frequency on satellite. Have a look at www.flysat.com for new parameters.

That was ages ago though, end of last year IIRC.

I'm being a bit idiotic and can't figure out how to find the frequency on that site :/ I'm also not quite sure how to change it on Saorview...!

Why not do a full scan on the box? There are approx 200 free to air channels on that satellite.TMULL

DON'T do a full scan unless you want loads of cr@p to wade through and delete.

This site lists all the FTA channels available so you can pick and choose what you fancy.

Well, Channel 5 is still working, which is great. It also tuned in 5*, which I didn't even know existed! There is officially nothing on television this week though.

You should also have found "Five USA" on the same settings.
