    I'm sure this is a "How long is a piece of string..." question but anybody got a ballpark / typical cost on how much solicitors charge for making out a will?

    Did that there in the past hour or so and it was surprisingly less than I expected but oddly ranged from EUR50 each + VAT (me and my wife involved) to EUR150 + VAT each - both firms based in the same small town...

    Here's one. Generally about €100 but some will do it for free.

    You can get a do it yourself kit at Easons, yes? Also, isn't there one day per year where firms do it for free?
