Anyone know of any breakers that supply motorbike parts?

My bike was just knocked over by a delivery guy outside my job:mad:.

Ah FFS! I hope you gave him a slap for his stupidity!!!

There's a lad in Tullamore called Paddy Costello, he's top class. But it depends on where you are too.

What bike is it? Year model make? Someone may have parts hanging about.
The delivery man should pay for it all!

    Its a Yamaha Fazer 600 2007 model.

I wouldnt mind but when i arrived in the job i told the guy whatever you do when your leaving dont reverse (even though he would see the bike when he left). The muppet left it in gear :(.

And if he dont pay - i dont pay him, but i dont think thats gonna be an issue, we are a good account for him.

Ah yes, I had a similar incident a few years ago with a very well known truck haulage company, one of their drivers reversed into my car (it was brand new - 2 days old!) and he wrecked the back of it. We told them they would lose our business if they didn't cough up. Lo & behold, they gave me a cheque to cover the damage and then some.

    Hope you get sorted.

Why are you looking for 2nd hand parts?:confused: Fix it with new parts, why are you penalising yourself because someone else damaged your bike.

If he don't pay you just claim from his insurance. It'll cost him a lot more.

It would be wise to notify your insurance company ...to be on the safe side.

    P&T Breakers (cork) 021-4379827

Surely the simplest thing here is to claim against his insurance.

At the very least as a previous poster says inform your insurance company a.s.a.p.

If none of the above help you could try this site: http://partfinderuk.co.uk/

Enter in your bike details and details of the parts that you need. Then, any breaker using the system mails you if they have any of the parts in stock.

Any chance that we can sticky this thread or a tidied up version of it? Questions on 2nd hand parts always come up and the same breakers are always suggested.
