Does it have Glyphosate in it? Another product I can think of is Rosate 36 which I believe is cheaper than "Roundup", maybe there is a lesser concentration of glypho in these other products and perhaps they also lack certain things like a sticking agent. I know Rosate does the job fine.

Of course Gallup is another clone... considerably cheaper than Roundup and we get a good kill from it, no noticable differ from roundup.

There is a load of generic roundup out there as well as those mentionedthere was one called Rambo and there is another I have not got name at had. The formulation is glyphosate 360. This is I think 360 /grams/litre. There use to be a weaker version of it I ythink it was Red cap and came only in 1 litre containers. Most people buy the generic form.

Sticker is cheap and most roundup doesn't have it anyway. Pudsey nailed it look for the glyphosate concentration on the can.

Is roundup biactive just roundup with an activator/sticker for use early in the year it is an awful price I have never used it however if you used generic gyphsaote and sticker/activator is it the same or nearly the same

Back in the day we used to use a drop of diesel around 1/2 pint to the acre but not really recomended for both enviro and efficacy reasons. Adigor is the sticker we normally use I think it's costing around €4/acre (about .5l/acre). As far as I understand it bi-active is just roundup with sticker but I couldn't swear to it. We haven't used roundup for at least 10 years.

The generics are pretty much all 360g/lt glyposate and so exactly the same as Roundup 360.

The thing that you need to consider when you are choosing which version to use is whether your water is soft or hard, hard water affects the performance of the basic 360 versions so the Biactive and Gold brands have not just stickers but water conditioners in the mix to counteract this problem.

We catch roof water here in a tank for spraying so I feel safe enough using the 360 version and have been happy with the performance, years ago though we used to add suplhate of Ammonia to the mix if we were using the well water to avoid any problems.

Adigor is an oil usually used to break down wax on the leaf of hard to kill weeds so the active ingredient can get in, so would be similar to using the old diesel trick, the problem is that it's probably more expensive than using extra roundup.

I think that an activator/sticker costs less than 20/litre will have to check and it is 100 mls/100 litres most of the time I am using about 70-80 litres/acre so it is less than 2 euros/acre. A litre of Glyposate costs about 4 euro/acre. I mut remember sulphate of amonia. Biacative is normally used in cold weather in spring when there is only little growth hand to know what way it works thanks. I often use the sticker when killing docks and thistles as the sprays are dear over 10/acre so it pays for itself.
