    So what is it?

It's almost certainly an IBM XT clone, but could possibly by an AT clone. That's an MFM hard drive which was quickly phased out after 1986/87. No particular value but I guess it could be worth up to €50/60 for a collector if it has the screen and the keyboard (which is essential since if it is an XT clone and not an IBM AT clone, they use different scan codes so modern keyboards won't work).
I would imagine the keyboard goes into that RJ10 at the back.

Can't know more without pictures or a model number.
    What doesn't work on it?

I've never seen one before, no one has, but I'm guessing it's a white hole.

    A white hole?

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. A black hole sucks time and matter out of the universe, a white hole returns it.

Precisely. That's why we're experiencing these curious time phenomena.

    What time phenomena?

As I said before in your other thread, you need smaller pics that aren't as close to the subject. It's hard to tell what's wrong or what needs fixing if you're taking close ups of individual parts and ICs.

Like just then, when time repeated itself

At the beginning nothing worked but i stripped it down to its parts and reassembled after cleaning and reseating all the cards and chips.

Now we have life but the Keyboard isnt working and i have a strong feeling it a problem with the cable.

Worked till 7 this morning on it time just flew by:eek:

    Lots more photos to come

I'm 90% sure there's a setup diskette (5 1/2" in size usually....) that you must run in order to tell it to use the hard disk, seeing as the battery has run dry....
I'll have a look when I'm home from work but if you manage to find it in the meantime let me know and I can write it onto a spare disk for you.
Interesting to see that it's a 286... I imagine the keyboard has a RJ10 connector?

Yes its a rj10 connector and its damaged

Where is the battery stored and is it replaceable?

And i would appreciate help with the startup disk just hope the reader works

Did a bit more research into this just there and (I don't know what model number this PC is but I think that's irrelevant based on this) you do indeed need a setup disk. You could be in luck and it might be simply a jumper setting (which would already by configured) to run from the hard drive but I doubt it. I can't find a link to the setup disk(s), so if it's BIOS based and you've no setup disk you could be reduced to having to load DOS diskettes on startup every time! :pac:
You can also snip off the old RJ10 and wire a new one onto it.
