New logo for Microsoft - No Way??????????

    I saw this over two hours ago via this link, I have to say it is a nice redesign after a gap of 25 years.

    The squares with it makes a nice and colourful change. It has been unveiled already on Microsoft.com and also on facebook and twitter.

    The windows and windows phone OS will be having this logo very soon. It will be a great new addition on the new microsoft windows 8 products.

    How can they say its been 25 years since their logo last changed... I don't believe it but I'm too busy to look, surely it changed between Windows 3.1 and 95/98 etc...

    The Microsoft logo changed, not the Windows logo.

    I quite like Microsoft's latest "boxy, minimalist and colourful" designs. The new logo ties in better with that than the old italic logo.

    (Still a bit iffy about Windows 8 but that's for another thread).
