Dodgy spots in Carlow.

So I'm moving upto Carlow soon to study and everyone keeps telling me to be careful and avoid the dodgy areas. So where's the dodgy areas that I need to avoid and what makes them dodgy ?

Have you a house sorted?Town centre generally fine, just be prudent as you would in any large town centre at night.

Looking at a place tomorrow on Hanover Road. Yeah I suppose all towns are similar in that regard, just have to have your wits about you.
