I had never heard of this jockey and having looked her up she has ridden 6 horses before today with 1 3rd and 2 4ths.

I don't know if you saw the 4:35 in Bath today, it could be one of the worst rides you will ever see, she was on a horse called Know No Fear.

I had backed Mighty Clarets and I thought my money was done for, Know No Fear was about 6 lengths clear at the 2f pole, her horse still full of running and she has a look back to see everything under a drive, she looks back again to see they are closer and she has hardly twitched a muscle. Then she waits until they are at her quarters and decides to give a couple of half assed nudges to her horse and ends up 4th. Anyone who backed the horse must be gunning for her.

Think your being harsh, horse ran very freely, all over the place coming from the bend onto the straight, surely done for juice regardless of who was on board.
First try at 10 also. If I'd backed the horse I'd probably have been worried that the horse had gone on too quickly at the 3 furlong mark.
What did it trade at in running?

Edit: just checked, hit a low of 3.1 if i'm not mistaken so anyone who is in fact gunning for her is in the wrong!

He wasn't all over the place, he ran a better line around the corner than the rest. A horse has no chance if the jockey doesn't even attempt to get in to the driving position.

The horse has run at 9, 10 and 11 furlongs previously and seemed to respond to pressure in previous races.

Why does the in running price determine if it was a poor ride? It was a 7.5 shot trading at 3.1 in the closing stages, surely he would have traded a lot higher than 3.1 if people on the exchanges thought he was going to lose.

It was a class 6 race so I doubt there was a lot of trading for the race.
