Hi, just wondering if anybody knows what the max speed is for a car towing a small trailer on the German autobahn? My parents are just after ringing me asking what it is and after a quick google I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

80 kph in general for car with trailer or 100 kph if the trailer is certified for travelling up to this speed.

yup, and certified means certified officially by the standards testing agency (TÜV), and not just that the manufacturer claims it is grand. Youll also need to have the certification info with you.
"It'll be grand" does not translate to german if you get what I mean!
Correct paperwork is needed for everything including driving at 100kmh with a trailer.
