Good to see them moving up to a big venue.
I don't think they'll sell it out, but the hype of the second album might push it.

    Pre sale starts August 29th!

That's unbelievable, its like anyone can sell out the O2 nowadays.

Next thing The Minutes will be headlining their own gig there.

But no Belfast gig despite actually being an Northern Irish band.

They headlined Belsonic two weeks ago, tour was announced the day before it iirc. Belfast is the place they get the smallest crowds, weirdly.

Hey guys, just wondering what public transport would be like after gig is over.Would there be a bus heading from near the o2 that would pass by Swords?

Hop on a LUAS to Abbey Street and get a 41 from there. LUAS is right next to the o2.

Is anyone here going to this gig? I want to but none of my mates are going. If anyone is up for meeting up on the night for beers and dance let me know:)

Any idea if stage times will be released? I've got stuff to do in Cork that day and wouldn't mind knowing what the latest bus I could get and make them is.

Standing for this is sold out I think?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,794 ✭✭✭chillywilly

First act is on at half 7 so I would guess they are on at roughly 9/half 9.

Standing tickets still available, i just bought one through their website. Looking forward to it now!

Has anybody seen these live before? :P know loads of people trying to sell there tickets.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,794 ✭✭✭chillywilly

I was lucky enough to be in Hollywood, LA in October when they were playing, got the tickets for $20 which is only around €15, bargain! They were great live when I saw them, met the band after too :D

Looking forward to seeing Jape too.

Why would you bother comment if you have no interest in the gig? Music is subjective, each to their own!

Coz they annoy me. Call it venting. Might not be common, but each to their own.

Two Door and Cast of Cheers were amazing! Really wasn't impressed by Jape. Saw him a while ago and he was great, but last two times I've seen him he's been pretty bad. Had to go to the bar during his set tonight. Think he's lacking the full band, just the two guys doesn't cut it at a show like that.

Somehow managed to get a video of What You Know despite all the craziness, was jumping so it probably isn't very stable.

They were class. Thought it was deadly the way the played old dance songs to get everyone pumped up before the came on. Think they played sandstorm just before they came on which was funny.
The set was class. Straight in to it from the off. class gig

I think they play that before every show.

Brilliant gig, although I was surprised at how short their set was. But that said, I'm not a huge fan of acts grinding out a 2hr+ set just for the sake of it.

Loved the lights for the opening song Sleep Alone. Girl in front of us was holding up her hand to block the strobes through out the whole song. :D

Gutted I missed this! would have loved to see TDCC & Cast of Cheers.

The o2 is a pretty huge venue though, did it sell well?

Standing area full but the first seating area had quite a few empty seats and the top circle was fully cordoned off, although it was still their biggest headline gig
