Im most likely going to have work experience in semester 2 this year.

It is the level 8 business course where you pick a stream in 3rd year.

I want to book a holiday to San Fran for 2 weeks in June/July. Anyone reckon the employers would be ok with this from experience?

I know some would say wait but the price i have at the moment is unbeatable.

It will genuinely depend on the company, and the amount of holidays you are entitled to. If you're working for 6 months you would not necessarily be entitled to 14 days holidays. I was working for 11 months on work exp and was entitled to 21 days. Some companies would be really flexible and other would not.

Money is not an issue with me really. Im just saying would taking the time off been an issue? I only need to work X amount of weeks so surely i could just work 2 weeks longer.

I just finished work experience myself this year. To be honest it depends on the employer you could always mention it when you get a placement. 95% of employers would be ok with it.

It depends if you're on contract or how they handle it. I was on contract but I know others who were given it week by week. I'd say go for it, tbh.

If moneys not an issue maybe wait so. Gaining valuable work experience should take priority over a holiday.
