Can't sign into UCD.ie

    Hello, I've been offered a place in UCD and accepted it but I can't log in. I put in my CAO number as my username and date of birth as my password (ddmmyy format) but all it says is "error username and password pair not recognised". What can I do? I'm assuming you need to register before you can accept accommodation and thats tomorrow so I really need to get in and register today. ( I registered over 3 days ago)

    It now says my account has been disabled for security reasons, and to contact an administrator... is this normal?

    Hi,

    Which service were you trying to log into? UCD Connect or SIS Student Login? Both are entirely separate (Connect is for Email, Calendar, news; SIS is for registration, fees, exams and accommodation)

    If you were trying to log into SIS too many times with wrong details you might have been locked out and have to contact to Student Desk. Note that all the Student Desk will do is reset your SIS password; so you may have to ask for more info if you don't know why it wasn't allowing you to log in in the first place

    Thank you stumbled, it looks like I was trying to log into UCD connect. I've managed to get into SIS and I'm registering right now, thanks again :) although I'm still locked out of UCD connect, but I'll email the help desk. Cheers :D

    I'm afraid the student desk has very little control over Connect as Connect is handled by the IT department. However, I suspect that your Connect account will come online shortly after you've completed registration .
