College laptop

Hi everyone. As the title suggests, im looking for a new laptop for going back to college. Im not much of a tech person so i wouldnt know much about laptops, to be completely honest. Anyway, I've owned Toshibas, To be more precise this one http://www.pcworld.ie/Product/HP-Pavilion-g62042sa-156andquot-Laptop/311449/301 . If anyone can tell me if its a good model and reasonably priced, id much appreciate it, and if not, recommend something instead. Thats in advance!

It's an OK laptop and if you're don't need it for gaming, it should easily fit the bill. However, the price is is anything but "reasonably". You'll save 105 yoyos here... and the good people at Argos added 2 GB more RAM and 250 GB more hard disk space.

I was going to recommend the following as it is toshiba brand that you previously used.

However after seeing the above what Torqay suggested its a very good price for an i5 laptop with 6GB of Ram and 750GB HDD its hard to ignore.

First time I have seen a decent speced laptop in Ireland at the pright price.

is i3 processor but still with 6GB Ram and 640GB of storage.

Converted to Euro and delivered for free = €434.

Well, last week it was Dabs with a few good deals (all gone out of stock since), now it's Argos. Stock clearance of second generation Core iX laptops, I suppose.
