    Morning all,

I've been driving my mams car a lot lately, I recently learned to drive in it and also passed my test in it last week.

One thing that has shown up recently is a clank/rattle noise when going through the lower gears, and also when changing down the gears for cornering.

When going up through the gears, it sounds like the gear is knocking in, but it is quite loud, and when I had the window open last night, when down changing it sounded like a click, but again it was loud enough for me to hear it.

It doesn't happen all the time and it is not having an impact on the performance of the car, no warning lights on the dash either.

The car was recently serviced as well but the mechanic said that all was well, but I can still hear it, and my driving instructor last week also could hear it as well.

Has anyone any idea what it might be?
