Sorry if this was answered before but I did a search and could not find it.

I am looking to buy a 5KG Calor Gas, the yellow one. Can anyone tell me where to get them? I am in Dublin 7 but I don't mind driving to get one.

    Thanks,

    Paddy.

You will need to give them a deposit of about 50 bucks, go to your local recycling center and you will probably get an empty for free. Churchtown stores in D14 have them and Bray harbour stores will refill it.

I heard that they're trying to do away with these, in favour of Calor Lite , which has a different connection, anyonre else hear this?

I saw the Calor Lite cylinders the last time I changed one and I would like to change over but they won't exchange a 5kg cylinder for a Lite one. There's more gas in the Lite cylinder than the 5kg for about the same price.

They're gold dust because the smallest 5kg bottle without a collar is now illegal due to EU Regs. Tommy the gentleman in Finglas would be worth a call.

The old collared ones are available in Prussia st.
