Thats a good 30 minute drive and with traffic in the morning, i dunno how long it'd take ya! But it is possible i suppose, do the run before college actually starts so you get to the know the way too. Also if ya want a parking space in UCD in the mornings, you need to be in a 8.50 latest to get anything, place fills up like crazy! and if you're not in for 9 gettin a packing space later can take 30mins if not more (happened to me!)

Have you thought about gettin the bus? Get one into town then out to UCD?

Have you got a bike or even better a motorbike :)

Driving a car across would be a pain in the arse traffic around ucd can be ridiculous you would actually probably be quicker on a push bike :)

I drive from Blanchardstown and it's not that bad at all, never takes more than an hour even during rush hour in the mornings! you do need to be in before 9 though if you want a parking space, or else after 2/3 if you have evening lectures.

This is the route I would take if coming from Drumcondra, not sure if its the quickest but at 22 mins it doesn't seem too bad!

Get a bike.. i cycled in from Ashbourne a few times when the weather was nice..
old N2 was a pain but once you hit dublin theres a cycle lane all the way..
Youd be there in under 40 minutes no problem and if its raining, just bus it!
