I have Toshiba P200 -140 series here. when starting laptop , back light not comes on, could see very dark.

When fold screen, back light comes up.
Obviously problem with power delivery to inverter .

I want find out, which cable need to be changed, would it be LCD cable, or power to inverter comes through different cable.

    Thanks.

Usually its the inverter board itself needs replacing, usually quite a straightforward replacement, ebay is good for getting inverters and there usually around 10-20~€

    Thanks for replay.
Just found somebody selling here in Dublin for 20 euro.

Cant understand, why inverter has to be replaced?

If it works when screen in certain angle, i suspect a wiring.

If wire broke somewhere, there is no contact to feed power to inverter, it not working. When owner bends the screen , wire make connection, and it start work.

Wont argue, just looking for explanation.

    Thanks

I would remove the bezel and check the connector going from the inverter into the screen/power cable going to it. A failing LCD/Inverter can do funny things like work when you tilt it, doesn't mean the cable is the issue. It could be the power/data cable, which is usually connected to the motherboard under the keyboard

It's likely to be either or anyways :) . Inverters are cheap enough anyways :)
