Something 'bout a truck...

I love this article about Ford's F250 King Ranch Pickup. Cracked me up, and he's right Rudy's is damn good BBQ.

Moving to the Southwest US, I couldn't resist blending in and buying a "Baby Truck" (a 4x4 Dodge Ram 5.2 V8 is considered 'small' in these parts) but then again I'm doing up a house.

Around 50% of drivers drive pickups around here, so if you moved to the US is there "something 'bout a truck" that appeals to you? Would you buy one?

Let me get you in the mood....

I always thought Mel Gibson's truck in Lethal Weapon was the bees-knees, big horse of a dually that he pulls down a house with. I wouldn't fancy navigating Cork's one-way system in it though!

SW US, yes I would! If I was in Oz I'd probably want a Holden SS Ute too.

I'd love a truck but really only an old timer such as the above. They look fantastic.

Truck or the song? haha - mountains of torque, bumbling round the countryside with good tunes and dirt bike in the back. Sign me up! If chicks in cowboy boots can be arranged then sign me up for that too!

I think you need some "dirtier" sounding tunes though -

    Are they not V10s?
    *google* ah guess not.
Properly equipped, an F-450 Super Duty can tow up to 24,500 pounds and carry up to 5,260 pounds.

That's towing the Hubble Space Telescope...
