Optional Civil Law Modules - a perplexing decision

    Hi :)

I was wondering if anyone who has (ever) taken this course at NUIG could offer me the benefit of their experiences re choosing the optional modules for 2nd year Civil Law.

For semester 1 I am fairly sure I want to pick Industrial and Intellectual Property Law. But for semester 2 it's a much more unclear decision for me.

Basically I cannot decide between Banking Law, Insurance Law, Labour Law, and Entertainment Law.

Does anyone have any feedback based on their own experiences?

Finally, I had thought Information Technology Law was taught at second year in Civil Law, but it seems I cannot select it - is this only available in 3rd year?

Thanks in advance, I'm just reluctant to commit as of yet, so any and all opinions would be most welcome!

    Cheers

Subject choices are not set in stone! Why don't you go to all the lectures in the first few weeks to see what you like/what you don't like!

will certainly do that, and hopefully it will give me some insight, however, i will still be sort of guessing as regards the second semester modules which will have to be chosen 'blind' , if you will.

    thanks though :pac:

Registration opens again for second semester. The Law School are very accommodating when it comes to subject changes. It's not something to lose sleep over!
